Carol A. Connacher

Carol Ann Connacher age 80 of Apollo Drive Brockport, PA; died on Friday July 5, 2024 at Nelson’s Golden Years in DuBois, PA. Born on July 24, 1943 in Crenshaw, PA; she was the daughter of the late Henry and Matilda Zamboni Luke. On September 4, 1976 she was married to Franklin H. Connacher and he preceded her in death on August 10, 2010. Retired, Carol had been as a waitress/bartender at the Rocky Grill in Brockway for 34 years. She was a member at St. Tobias Church, the Horton-Brockway Area Lions Club and the Horton Twp. Sportsmen's Club. Carol enjoyed playing bingo, taking trips to Salamanca, listening to country music and cheering for the Los Angeles Dodgers. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband she is also preceded in death by brothers Frank, Larry, Andrew and James Luke as well as an infant brother Frank. Visitation will be on Tuesday July 9 from 5 PM to 8 PM at the Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. Mass of Chrisian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday July 10 at 11:00 AM at St. Tobias Church with Fr. John Detisch presiding. Burial will follow in St. Tobias Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Gateway Humane Society 1211 Airport Road Falls Creek, PA 15840; Hahne Cancer Center 100 Hospital Avenue DuBois, PA 15801 or St. Tobias Church; Moorhead United Methodist Church or the Presbyterian Church for the Meals on Wheels Programs they each provide.
