Carol A. Askey

Carol Ann Askey age 81 of Westville Road Brockway, PA;  peacefully passed away on Sunday November 27, 2022 at Highland View Health Care in Brockway. Born on September 6, 1941 in DuBois, PA; she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Alice Rogers Askey Sr. Carol was a homemaker and attended the Beechtree Union Church with her parents when she was younger. She was an animal lover, but especially loved watching the wildlife out her windows, watching TV, and listening to the music on Christian radio. She is survived by a brother Floyd (Diane) Askey Jr of Brockway; 3 sisters: Rosemary Hoover also of Brockway; Joyce Britton of Falls Creek, PA and Cathy (Sam) Davis of Brookville. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by a sister Ellen Bergh and 3 brother-in-laws Robert Hoover, Leonard Britton and Orris Bergh. There will be no public visitation. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday November 30 at 11:00 AM at the Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway with Rev. Terry Felt officiating. Burial will follow in the Beechwoods Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Beechtree Union Church C/O Rev. Terry Felt 3023 Beechton Road Brockway, PA 15824.
