Brenda Lee Alderton

Brenda Lee Alderton age 57 of The Lane Reynoldsville, PA; died on Friday December 20, 2024 at Penn Highlands DuBois. Born on September 27, 1967 in DuBois, PA; she was the daughter of the late Carl and Marlene Johnson Terwilliger. On January 7, 1989 she was married to Joseph E. Alderton and he survives. Retired, Brenda had been employed as a Registered Nurse for 12 years at Penn Highlands DuBois, as a Hospice Nurse at WRC, and in the Home Health Care industry for many years. She attended the Crenshaw Community Church, and was a member of the Horton Township Sportsman Club. Brenda enjoyed fishing at Kyle Lake, catfishing and frog gigging. In addition to her husband she is also survived by a daughter Kelsi Alderton and a son Joseph Alderton both of Brockway; sisters Penny (Rick) Cooper of Hazen; Donna (Ronald) Lindenmuth of Shawmut, PA; and a brother Scott Terwilliger of DuBois. She is also survived by grandchildren Jayda Lee Alderton, Julia Renee Zambory and Lyric Haze Alderton. Visitation will be on Thursday December 26 from 1 PM to 4 PM at the Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 4:00 PM with Pastor Faith Bryan officiating. Burial will follow in Lakelawn Memorial Park in Reynoldsville. Memorial donations may be made to the Neuro ICU Unit at Penn Highlands DuBois 100 Hospital Avenue DuBois, PA 15801 or The Lung Center 100 Hospital Avenue DuBois, PA 15801.
