Arlene D. Becker

Arlene D. Becker age 83 of Caruso Road Brockway, PA; died on Wednesday June 7, 2023 at Penn Highlands DuBois. Born on February 20, 1940 in Lanes Mills, PA; she was the daughter of the late Lander and Alma Swanson Carlson. On September 27, 1959 she was married to Allen J. Becker and he survives. Retired, Arlene had been employed as a Packer at Brockway Glass for 39 years. She was a member at Moorhead United Methodist Church in Brockway, and had served as past president of the local union at Brockway Glass. She enjoyed baking, crocheting and watching soap operas. In addition to her husband she is also survived by a daughter Karen (Frank) Campopiano of Huntingdon, PA; a son Blaine (Colleen Snedden) of Crenshaw; a sister Doris Batson of Farmington, MI; 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by 4 sisters: Evelyn, Alice, Virginia, Genevieve and 5 brothers: Carl, Art, Carmen, Ronnie and Leroy. Visitation will be on Saturday from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. A Funeral Service will immediatley follow at 1 PM with Pastor Andrew Verner officiating. Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Brockway. Memorial donations may be made to the Moorhead United Methodist Church PO Box 233 Brockway, PA 15824.
