Ronald E. Armstrong

Ronald E. Armstrong age 71 of Fermantown Road Brockway, PA; died unexpectedly on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at the Hershey Medical Center. Born on July 16, 1946 in Munderf, PA; he was the son of the late Robert Armstrong and Dorothy Beck Armstrong who survives and is a resident at the DuBois Nursing Home. On September 7, 1968 he was married to Linda Shaffer and she survives. Retired, Ron was the owner of Armstrong Accounting Services. He attended the Munderf United Methodist Church. Ron enjoyed camping, traveling and spending time with family and friends. In addition to his mother and his wife he is also survived by a daughter Ronda (Kenneth) Carpenter of Brockway; a son Douglas Armstrong of Elizabethtown, PA; 4 sisters: Brenda (Richard) Delia of Brockway; Joyce (John) Showers and Marcia (Randy) Newell both of DuBois; Becky (Joseph) Bona of Kersey; 2 brothers: Daniel C. Armstrong and John R. (Tina) Armstrong both of Munderf. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren Sadie Carpenter, Logan Carpenter and Kathryn Armstrong. Calling hours will be on Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Munderf United Methodist Church. A Funeral Service will immediatley follow at 1:00 PM with Pastor Don Henderson officiating.  Burial will be in the Munderf Cemetery. While floral arrangements are appreciated, memorial donations to the Munderf United Methodist Church Building Fund or the Charity of the donors choice are preferred.
