Howard Claypoole Obituary

Howard N. Claypoole age 75 formerly of Treasure Lake, currently a resident at the DuBois Nursing Home, died on Saturday July 7, 2018. Born in Butler, PA; on December 29, 1942 he was the son of the late Lynford E. and Nellie Manning Claypoole. Retired, Howard worked in the dry cleaning and laundry business for many years and later as a security guard and also served as a National Guardsman. He attended St.. Tobias Church in Brockway and enjoyed doing things for others. He also enjoyed gardening and keeping his lawn looking nice. He is survived by a son John David Claypoole and a daughter Diane Lynn Avila both of Connecticut; 2 brothers David (Sharon) Claypoole of DuBois and Lynford W. Claypoole of Jupiter, Florida. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren. All services for Howard will be private at the convenience of his family. Burial will be in St. Tobias Cemetery in Brockway. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
