Edith "Edie" Teeter

Edith L. “Edie” (Good) Teeter age 81 of Buzzard Street Brockway, PA; died on Tuesday August 14, 2018 at her residence. Born on April 22, 1937 in Lewisville, PA; (Indiana County) she was the daughter of the late Wendell H. and Blanche L. Hughes Good. On June 23, 1962 she was married to Wilfred L. “Bill” Teeter at Graystone Presbyterian Church in Indiana, PA by Dr. Frank Lawrence.  Edie graduated from the Saltsburg Joint High School in 1955, and the Indiana Hospital School of Nursing in 1958. As a Registered Nurse, she had experience at the Indiana Hospital, the former Mercy & Lee Hospital in Johnstown, and the former DRMC East and West Hospitals in DuBois. She was a member of the Moorhead United Methodist Church in Brockway. Edie enjoyed reading, singing, ballroom dancing and rose gardening. Along with her husband she is also survived by a son Daniel Teeter of Brentwood, TN; 2 grandsons Hayden and Nolen; 3 sisters Virginia Lee Good of Wooster, Ohio; Joyce Elaine Good of Bristol, CT and Carol Ann Good of Santa Barbara, CA. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by a son William Victor Teeter and a sister Mary Jane Way. There will be no public visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at the convenience of her family. Burial will be in the Wildwood Cemetery in Brockway. The Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway is handling the arrangements.
