Betsy Lynn Pearce

Betsy Lynn Pearce age 50 of Anderson Road Brockport, PA; died on Wednesday June 6, 2018 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Born on September 25, 1967 in DuBois, PA; she was the daughter of the late Leno N. and Arloween “Dolly” Ishman Judice. On November 15, 2003 she was married to Kenneth D. Pearce and he survives. Betsy was employed as a Teachers Aid at the Brockway Elementary School. She also enjoyed giving children horseback riding lessons and taking care of people’s pets while they where out of town or on vacation. Her faith was an important part of her life and she was a member of the Crenshaw Community Church. Betsy also served as a dog handler for "Love on a Leash Therapy Dogs", riding her motorcycle, horses, dogs and all animals in general. In addition to her husband she is also survived by 2 daughters: Emily and Alison Pearce both of Brockport, PA; a step-son Eric Pearce of Punxsutawney;  2 sisters: Lisa McCorkle of Falls Creek, PA and Angela (Robert) Chaisson of Ijamsville, MD; and a brother David Judice of State College, PA.  In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by a brother John Judice. Calling hours will be on Saturday, June 9 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. A Funeral Service will be held at 8:00 PM with Pastor Faith Bryan officiating.
