Wayne Foringer

Wayne D. Foringer age 73 of 4th Avenue Brockway, PA; died on Thursday January 4, 2024 at his residence surrounded by family.  Born on February 7, 1950 in Ridgway, PA; he was the son of the late Sydney and Mary Grilli Foringer. On October 19, 1968 he was married to Linda L. Bower and she survives. Retired, Wayne had been employed at Brockway Glass as a Hot End Machine Operator for 31 years. He was a member of the Egypt Free Methodist Church. Wayne was the biggest dog lover you ever saw. He not only loved all the dogs he ever had, he also loved everyone else’s just as much. He also enjoyed camping, fishing, tinkering around his house and spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his wife Linda he is also survived by a daughter Tammy (Jeffrey) Beer of DuBois, PA; a son Randy (Deborah Keith) of Brockway; a half-sister Sherrel Foringer also of DuBois; grandchildren William Foringer of Brockway, Rebecca (Michael) Verne of Brockway, Carlee (Johnathon Atkinson) Beer of Greenville, NC; Mallory (Steven) Sorrento of Fayetteville, NC; Vincent (Haley) Foringer of Penfield and Hillary Beer of DuBois; great grandchildren Brooks Foringer, Bennett Foringer, Julian Verne, Vinny Foringer and Romeo Atkinson. Wayne is also survived by his special cousin Richard Foringer of Canandaigua, NY. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his pooches Blackie, Biscuit and Scruffy. Visitation will be on Sunday January 7, 2024 from 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM at the Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday January 8th at 11:00 AM also at the funeral home with Pastor Bradley Lockwood officiating. Burial will follow in Temple Cemetery at Hazen.
