William Barraclough

William Barraclough age 96 of Route 28 Brockway, PA; died on Friday December 22, 2017. Born on December 16, 1921 in Bald Hill, PA; he was the son of the late Joseph and Margaret Clark Barraclough. On March 2, 1948 he was married to Elizabeth Edwards and she preceded him in death on February 2, 2014. Retired, Bill had been employed by the Pittsburg & Shawmut Railroad as a carpenter. He was a U.S. Army WW II Veteran and a Bronze Star recipient. He was Protestant by faith. Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening and was a member of Parson-Marnati Post #95 of the American Legion. He is survived by a daughter Cathy (Robert) Cooper of Elderton, PA; and a son William F. Barraclough of Coraopolis/Moon Twp; PA. He is also survived by 7 grandsons and 8 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents and his wife he is also preceded in death by 5 brothers and 1 sister. A private viewing and funeral service will be held at the funeral home with Rev. Terry Felt officiating. Burial will follow in Morningside Cemetery.
