Wendy L. Greely

Wendy L. (Chilelli) Greely (December 04, 2017) Wendy L. Greely, age 65, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 4, 2017 at Kobacker House in Columbus. Wendy will be remembered for her spirit, humor, community work and love as a mother. Wendy was born January 6, 1952 in Salamanca, NY the daughter of Lucile and Alfred Chilelli of Brockway, Pa who preceded her in death. Wendy is survived by her daughter Taylor Greely, Columbus, Ohio her sister Teresa (Garry) Hirt, Pittsburg, Pa. and brothers Lawrence (Mary), Aurora, IL, and Timothy Chilelli, Rochester, NY. Wendy graduated from DuBois Central Catholic class of 1970 and Indiana University School of Nursing class of 1973 and spent her early carrier as a nurse at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa. She resided in Columbus, Ohio where she spent her time as a mother and active member of numerous civic activities. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday January 5, 2018 at St. Brigid of Kildare Church in Dublin, Ohio. Wendy requested to be cremated. Her ashes were interred at St. Tobias Cemetery in Brockway, PA. Memorial donations may be made to  Hope Hollow, a cancer nonprofit near to Wendy’s heart, www.hopehollow.com/donate.
