Raymond "Jerry" Copelli

Raymond “Jerry” Copelli age 68 of Route 219 Brockport, PA;  died on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at his residence. Born on March 27, 1949 in DuBois, PA; he was the son of the late Francis and Ruth Carr Copelli. On July 22, 1988 he was married to Sherry Heatherdale and she survives. Retired, Jerry had been employed at Motion Control as a Disc Brake Operator. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and all sports in general, but in particular he was a huge Oakland Raiders fan. His greatest joy was traveling anywhere to watch his grandson play sports. In addition to his wife Sherry, he is also survived by 2 daughters: Amanda Copelli of St. Marys;  Jessica (Caleb) King of Ridgway;  a son Gregory Copelli of St. Marys; 3 sisters: Cathleen (William) Hallowell of Reynoldsville; Patricia (Robert) Kline of Kersey; Lois (Donald) Feidler of Brockport; 1 brother: Mark (Brenda) Copelli of Ridgway; 3 grandchildren: Marcus, Kinsley and Michael as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by 3 brothers: Richard, John and James Copelli. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 21 at 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Church in Brandy Camp, with Pastor Dave Nagele officiating. A luncheon will follow immediately at Holy Cross Center. Memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018. The Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. of Brockway is handling the arrangements.
