Raymond C. Bish age 89 of Westville Road Brockway, PA; died on Monday, June 12, 2017 at Highland View Health Care in Brockway. Born on May 14, 1928 in Fox Twp. Elk County; he was the son of the late Raymond A. and Ima L. Snyder Bish. On April 19, 1946 he was married to Aileen Fay Ruth and she survives. Raymond began his working life at Brockway Glass. Over the years he also was employed at the Clay Plant, the Box Factory in Brockway and Brockway Pressed Metals. He retired after 29 years of owning and operating Brockway Honda. Raymond was a member of the Moorhead United Methodist Church, and a member of the Brockway Area Kaimanns. Being very mechanically inclined, he spent his whole life teaching others how to fix common things around the house. He also introduced countless men, women and children to the joys of motorcycle and atv ownership and how to enjoy them safely. Another of his favorite past times was cutting the grass in the field between Fay’s Christmas Village and the Honda Shop during the summer months. Perhaps his greatest joy was just simply sitting around the pond beside his house, spending time with his family. In addition to his wife he is also survived by 4 daughters: Sharon Dusch of Brockway; Janet (Wally) Ivoska of Clarion, PA; Alice White of Brockway; Laurie (Mike) Dembicki of Pemberville, Ohio; 2 sons: Norman (Patty) Bish, Ronald Bish both of Brockway; 2 sisters: Ima Jean Thomas of DuBois, PA and Beverly Starr of Kersey, PA. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Along with his parents he is also preceded in death by a brother Ronald Bish and a son in law Daniel E. White. Calling hours will be on Wednesday, June 14 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. The Funeral Service will be on Thursday, June 15 at 11:00 AM also at the funeral home, with Rev. Terry Felt officiating. Burial will follow in the Brandy Camp Cemetery.
