Melissa A. Morris

Melissa A. Morris age 46 of Old 255 Road DuBois, PA; died on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at U.P.M.C. Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Born on August 29, 1970 in DuBois, she was the daughter of Edward and Helen Schoening Lockwood Sr . They survive and live in Luthersburg. Melissa was married to Richard Morris Sr. and he survives. She was a housewife. Melissa was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and an aunt. She was an honest hard working, loud and outspoken person. She cherished her family and friends. She would do anything that she could possibly do for anyone. She enjoyed gardening and planting flowers. She loved listening to Jason Aldean and playing solitaire. She loved to take care of animals and fish. But most of all, she enjoyed time spent with her husband and her children.  In addition to her parents and her husband she is also survived by a daughter Tonya Morris; a son Richard “Richie” Morris Jr; 2 sisters: Lisa (Eugene) Overbeck of Luthersburg and Tammy (Jodie) McCall of Troutville and  1 brother Edward (Renee) Lockwood Jr. also of DuBois. Melissa is also survived by 4 nephews Edward, Daren, Dustin and Derick; as well as 3 nieces Amanda, Eleya and Teira. She is preceded in death by a sister Crystal Lockwood, her paternal grandparents Earl and Maybell Lockwood, her maternal grandparents Leroy and Clara Schoening; 6 uncles, 4 aunts and 4 cousins. Calling hours will be on Friday, May 26 from 10:00 AM till 12:00 PM at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 PM also at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
