Leno N. Judice

Leno N. Judice age 88 currently a resident at LaurelBrook in Brookville, PA; (a life long Broad Street Brockway; PA  resident) died on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Penn Highlands Brookville. Born on September 23, 1928 in the village of Yellow Dog which is near Kittanning, PA; he was the son of the late John and Elsa Judice.  He is also preceded in death by a son John, his Step Mother Angelina Bono Judice and a brother Louie P. Judice. He was married to Dolly Ishman and she preceded him in death on March 27, 1987. He then married Ruth Dixon and she preceded him in death on May 27, 2011. Retired, he had been employed in the Electrical Maintenance Department at Brockway Glass. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and later in the U.S. Army Reserves. Leno’s greatest passion in life was jogging and running, especially 5k marathons. He is survived by 3 daughters: Betsy (Ken) Pearce of Brockway, PA; Lisa McCorkle of Falls Creek, PA; Angela (Robert) Chaisson of Ijamsville, MD; a son David Judice of State College, PA; and a sister Mary Daykon of DuBois; PA. Leno is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.  Calling hours will be on Saturday, May 20 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. A Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 PM also at the funeral home with Pastor Bob Trask officiating. Burial will follow in St. Tobias Cemetery. Full Military Honors will be accorded by Parson-Marnati Post #95 of the American Legion Saturday afternoon at the cemetery.
